Abstract (in italiano)
Abstract (in inglese)
The paper investigates the relationship between privacy and administrative transparency in the Italian legal system. The research starts from the analysis of the constitutional basis of transparency and makes a brief excursus of its evolution. The spread of the internet has inevitably led to an evolution of the concept of transparency. For this reason, the work also analyses how the notion of transparency is intertwined with the new legal categories, spread with the digital age, in particular: big data, data mining and algorithmic governance.
